Since we have been back in good ol'Canada we have been living at Tyrn's parents house in Elk Island. We will be here until we find a house to BUY! Yikes! We have also been all over the province and visiting a couple of our favourite people. Life back in Alberta is good, rainy, but good. We feel some of the changes in our province like when you see a niece after being gone a year and she is talking and walking and SO much bigger than when you left, and yet her parents don't see it like we do having been gone. That is Alberta for us as well, we see the gas prices, the expansion of cities and the craziness of the people much more now. Some of the changes we are impressed by, and some we aren't so happy about, as with any place you live or visit. Okay, enough of that for now, on to the picture show:
We visited our good friends Karla and Andrew in Heisler, AB:

Tyrn and Lane watching hockey.

Kasey Faye giving us her best smile.
We drove down to Lomond/Lethbridge to help Rachelle (Ty's sis) and Dave move into their new house.

Deb on the 6 hour ride down south.

Armstrong's watching movies in Ross's fancy truck.

Tyrn and our VERY cute niece, Mya, in her new house.

We went to Calgary for Father's Day.

Mary (Kelsey's sis in-law) curated a fantastic art show at the Calgary Art Gallery.

Tyrn and his team won both games.

Dad playing his "roll off Craig's back" shot.

Extreme boche!

Tyrn and Matt practicing for Tai Kwon Do Promotion test:

Matt scarfing down his celebration cake. His Safeway part of his fund raising this year raised over $44 000 for kids.

This is our first HOME blog and we have very bad news. We traveled the world for 9 months and did not have ONE thing stolen. We have been home for just under a month and Tyrn's laptop was STOLEN! He was at an interview in Starbucks on Whyte Ave and had his laptop with him for his teaching portfolio. His laptop was at his chair and he got up to buy a coffee, when he came back it was gone. We have filled out a police report, etc, etc, but it is as good as gone. It was a VERY sad day! We told the police officer that we were just back from traveling and had not had a problem anywhere else. She smiled and said, "Welcome Home!"
