Old Alberta

A long time ago (Easter Sat) two brave adventurers traveled EAST of Highway #2. (Yes, the province extends east of the QE2.) The adventurers found a wonderful family living in a place called Brownfield. As spring was being uncovered all around them, the adventurers decided to take a look at the past life in this area, as new life starts again.
Our adventure begins:

The adventurers forged rushing streams. (synchronized jumping)

They used the materials available to them, to test their surroundings.

They collected samples of our natural world.

They sat and listened to the ice breaking on the river.

And they just sat and looked pretty.

The adventure really started getting interesting when we saw signs of old life on the prairies.

We saw other signs of life as well.

In this forgotten place, the adventurers became archeologists. They seemed to find "artifacts" everywhere. As people leave one place, nature takes over and a tangled dance begins.

Little did our adventurers know that the biggest adventure was still to come. Back in the big city, they found that there was a surprise waiting for them. That's right, the adventure of being a home owner who finds a crack in their basement.
Only about 1/3 of our basement is finished and of course the snow melts and in comes the water. We weren't flooded out, but as you can see, we did have to take out some wall and do a bit of air drying.
Once everything is dried again, we will look at where this adventure is going to take us.
